Finger Pulse Oximeter Review
I’m a RRT(respiratory therapist) and I purchased this pulse ox several months ago. I use it daily and have found it to be very accurate. It is lightweight, easy to read in dark or bright rooms, and works well on pts with poor circulation. The only complaints I have is that it is slower and more sensitive to motion than $400 handheld models. I have also noticed the lettering for SPO2 an HR has already started to wear off. I would recommend this product to RTs, PTs, and RNs who want an affordable pulse ox.

The actual unit works accurately. My only complaint so far is the case for it is too tight and slightly moves the batteries out of position. When the unit is removed from the case to be used, the batteries have to be repositioned or reset to make the unit work. Otherwise it works as advertised and seems to be very accurate.

My mom was in the hospital for 40 days about 4 weeks ago. Her oxygen level and pulse was something that has to be watched closely. When she got home I was worried about her oxygen and pulse so I went onto Amazon and found this oximeter. The next day I was talking to a family member who is a physical therapist for a home health nursing facility. She was telling me how she has been wanting one of these but could not afford to pay what most places were asking for them. We use them everyday and it has given me and my family peace of mind. I am a Nurse that has been working with PulseOx for years. I recently had a little Pneumonia and wanted to follow my recovery, O2 sat is as important as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate. I purchased the Octive Tech 300c for that reason. It works great, it’s quick the capture the pulse and provide the readings. It’s small, and easy to use. The only thing about the device that I think could be improved is the led display. At least for my eyes, it takes a second to read it, and if it moves I cant’ read the display. Over all it’s a great machine and for the price. . . can’t go wrong with the Octive Tech 300c.
